Haunted Holly activities on tap
By BARRY BURLESON
The Haunted Holly Fall Celebration has arrived.
On Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the downtown square will come alive with “Square Crows,” featuring second graders plus sweets with the Holly Springs Main Street Chamber.
Enjoy the “Scare-Affair on the Square” and watch the ghouls and goblins present a themed “Square Crow.” The winning school will receive a $100 prize for a movie and popcorn party.
Activities start at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, Halloween Day. It’s a family “Spoof-Fair” around the square. Participants are urged to put on their favorite costumes and ride downtown Holly Springs for a fun night with the family. There will be free games and goodies.
Also, the Haunted Holly Mansion will be open from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The supernatural experience will take place at 305 Craft Street.
