Correction There was an error in the “School Bond Issue” story printed in last week’s South Reporter. The gym at Holly Springs Intermediate School is the newest building on the campus. It was built in 1969. The
Sims Building is the oldest one on campus. It was constructed in the
early 1950s. It was originally a gym, then converted to classrooms,
according to Adam Andrews, executive director of operations for the
school district. The newspaper apologizes for the mistake and is glad to set the record straight.
