City police make arrest for evading traffic stop A Holly Springs man was arrested Tuesday, May 30, on multiple charges. Police chief Patricia Selman said James Campbell, 26, was arrested after allegedly attempting to evade Holly Springs Police Department officers during a traffic stop. She said Campbell was charged with speeding, seat belt violation, disobeying a police officer, failure to yield to blue lights, running multiple stop signs, careless driving, suspended driver’s license, no insurance and possession of a weapon by a felon. Campbell was transported to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office where he is being detained until his court hearing. The Holly Springs Police Department also released the following report.
